Our practitioners will listen intently and give you a fair and honest evaluation of your face and advise if the treatments you are requesting are both reasonable and appropriate. Our skilled practitioners will analyse your face from different angles and will provide suggestions for treatments that we believe will complement and enhance your natural beauty.
Our practitioners look at the face as a whole and not as individual pieces, so if you come requesting a new set of lips, your dark under-eye circles fixed or marionette lines filled, we may suggest to also consider chin projection, cheek volume or jawline contouring, for better balance and facial harmonisation.
Many issues people have with particular parts of their face, require correction to the surrounding structures that lift and support the skin. Restoring and rejuvenating these surrounding structures is the difference between a good result and the beautiful and aesthetic result a patient actually desires.

I have 26 years of acute nursing experience in a variety of settings including several large tertiary hospitals (oncology, cardiac and emergency), in the community (hospital in the home) as well as vaccination clinics as a nurse immuniser. Over that time however, I spent most of my nursing career within the area of Oncology and Cancer Care, administering chemotherapy and offering supportive care to patients and their families.
In 2014, an opportunity became available and I decided to transfer my relevant skills to the area of aesthetics. In the 9 years that followed, I have received extensive training and experience developing my knowledge and skills using numerous injectable products to rejuvenate and enhance the face.
I have very high personal standards for my aesthetic work, and I define this by delivering noticeable results that look natural. Balance and symmetry are important to me, however I always give careful consideration to the uniqueness of each person’s face, to deliver individually tailored and optimal results.
I offer complimentary consultations to all my patients as an opportunity to determine what treatments would be pleasing and appropriate for their face. I always give my honest opinion of what treatments patients should consider and sometimes this includes treatments that I do not offer. My priority is that you get a great result and that can mean I need to refer you somewhere else to achieve that.
My consultations are respectful, non-judgemental and safe and they are a great opportunity for you to meet me, understand how I like to treat patients and most importantly decide if I am someone you can trust with your face.
In 2019, I completed my Master of Nurse Practitioner Studies degree through the University of Queensland and am endorsed by AHPRA as a Cosmetic Nurse Practitioner. This endorsement allows me to broaden my scope of practice and offer some other treatments and services that a regular cosmetic nurse is not able to do.
I currently conduct clinics in 5 locations including Mango Hill (Brisbane), Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Gladstone and Rockhampton. I am available for consultations and treatments at all of these locations and my clinic calendar can be found on the CLINICS tab of this website.

Originally from Wales in the UK, Darren relocated to beautiful Queensland back in 2002 where he completed his Bachelor of Nursing and developed his gentle and caring touch working in the specialised area of paediatrics.
In 2012 he completed a Graduate Certificate in Cosmetic Nursing and since then has worked at several busy cosmetic clinics around Brisbane, treating thousands of delighted patients.
He now has an incredible 11 years’ experience, working as a cosmetic injector in the aesthetics space and in that time has attended countless training opportunities both locally as well as abroad, to learn everything he can about techniques, products and patient safety.
Darren is experienced and confident treating both women and men and thanks to his extensive industry knowledge and keen aesthetic eye, understands how to tailor individualised treatments for all his patients, which are natural and age appropriate.
