COVID-19  (updated March 19, 2023)

Due to the ongoing risk of community transmission of coronavirus, Respectable Injectables is following all mandated government directions and legislation as well as current health recommendations to stop the spread of this virus and keep everyone safe.

As a small business which is trying to do the right thing in these difficult times, we kindly request that BEFORE your appointment, if you are:

• COVID +ve (RAT or PCR)
  
• feeling unwell
• experiencing fevers or sweats
• cough
• sore throat
• runny nose
• loss of taste
• any other respiratory symptoms
• are considered a close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19

PLEASE CALL RESPECTABLE INJECTABLES (07 3924 8000) AND CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT.

• Please do not rebook for at least 2 weeks after all symptoms have resolved. Waiting 2 weeks is important to minimise your risk of unwanted side effects following an aesthetic treatment.
• If you are due to receive a covid vacccine/booster, please ensure it is at least 2 weeks either side of the following aesthetic treatments: dermal fillers, bio-remodeller, collagen stimulators and PDO threads.
  

Any cancellation fees that might normally be applicable will be waived in this instance.

• Antiwrinkle treatments can be administered at anytime as there are no known adverse interactions with covid vaccine.
• If during your treatment, Respectable Injectables practitioners become aware that you are due to receive a planned vaccine or booster within 2 weeks, we will delay your treatment.

Respectable Injectables practitioners will follow all recommended infection control practices to keep staff and patients as safe as possible.

• Practitioners will wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include facemask, faceshield, eyewear and gloves. 
• All equipment used to administer cosmetic treatments is single use and disposable.
• Any hard surfaces will be cleaned appropriately between each patient.

Respectable Injectables thanks you for respecting the health and well-being of our practitioners and patients by adhering to these directions and reducing the chance of an unnecessary closure of our business.

OTHER SAFETY INFORMATION

Respectable Injectables practitioners value your safety above everything else. Please be open and honest with us when we ask you about your health history. All information is completely confidential and only used to determine if these treatments are suitable for you.

We will not treat any patient who is pregnant or trying to conceive, or who is breast feeding as there is no evidence that proves these treatments are 100% safe for your developing baby.

If you have an infection anywhere in your body (no matter how insignificant it may seem), please advise your practitioner before treatment. An active infection can easily spread within the body and we want to make sure that we keep the chance of a complication as small as possible.

If you are a smoker and you wish to have a treatment with dermal fillers, fat dissolver or collagen stimulator, our practitioners will insist that you do not smoke for at least 2 days after your treatment to reduce the chance of infection and increase the body’s ability to heal itself. If you are unable to cease smoking during this important recovery time, our practitioners reserve the right to not administer your treatment.

If we decide for ANY reason that a treatment is inappropriate or unsafe for you, we will explain why and we reserve the right to NOT administer that treatment. Our decision will be final in all instances.
